DESCRIPTION:Join The Elora Singers as we explore historical choral masterpieces created for the spaces in which they were first heard.  \nWe begin with sounds meant to reverberate in the Sistine Chapel, Paris’ Notre Dame, Venice’s St Mark’s Basilica, and other sacred places. \n In the second half, we discover Alex Berko’s Sacred Place.  This new work is an ecological service that connects the old with the new, the sacred with the secular, and the individual with their community. The outline of the work is a Jewish service.
