Mezzo soprano Kirsten Fielding, is excited to be spending another summer in Elora. In addition to The Elora Singers, Kirsten sings with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and Mendelssohn Singers, the Tallis Choir of Toronto, the Ukrainian choir, Musicus Bortniansky, and Ottawa’s Caelis Academy. As a chorister, she has toured Canada, the US, Europe, and South Africa, and has recorded Grammy and Juno nominated and award-winning albums. As a school teacher for 10 months of the year, Kirsten looks forward to the summers where she can reconnect with this beautiful village, and revel in the planning of August travels around the world (this year, it’s Scandinavia!)
