Baroque Meditations

Baroque Meditations begins with Vivaldi’s gorgeous “Kyrie a Duo Coro”, followed by the haunting and seldom-heard Stabat Mater by the early baroque Italian composer, Agostino Steffani. The concert concludes with the young Handel’s Dixit Dominus, written while he lived briefly in Rome at the beginning of the 18th Century.
