Mezzo-soprano Kirsten Fielding is delighted to be a part of another season with The Elora Singers. Now in her sixteenth season with the ensemble, she continues to cherish being part of a organization that grows in creativity and ambition each year. In addition to her work with The Elora Singers, Kirsten performs with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and Mendelssohn Singers, Ottawa’s Caelis Academy Ensemble, The Tallis Choir of Toronto, and frequently appears as a “pinch hitter” for choirs across the province. Her choral career has taken her throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and South Africa, and she has contributed to multiple Grammy- and Juno-nominated, as well as award‑winning, recordings.

As a school teacher for 10 months of the year, Kirsten looks forward to the summers where she can reconnect with this beautiful village, and revel in the planning of August travels around the world. This year’s adventures will take her to Newfoundland, and the trails of Gros Morne!
