NICHOLAS NICHOLAIDIS

TENOR

Nicholas Nicolaidis  is a versatile and accomplished soloist, chorister, conductor, and vocal pedagogue.

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Nicholas began his vocal studies at the world famous Drakensberg Boy’s Choir School and completed a Bachelor of Music Degree (Voice) from the University of the Witwatersrand, and post graduate singing studies with professors from the Royal College of Music in London, England, and post graduate conducting studies at the University of Stellenbosch.

He has a wide vocal repertoire, but specialises in oratorio, lieder, and the jazz standards.

Nicholas has performed as a soloist most recently for the Elora Singers, Toronto Mendelssohn Choir,  Pax Christie Chorale, Grand Philharmonic Choir, Spiritus and with the Trinity Bach Project. He is delighted to be singing tenor 1 again with the Elora Singers for his second outing.

Nicholas enjoys good food, gracious company, playing tennis and walking or biking the trails in and around southern Ontario.

FUN FACTS

Nicholas is a keen ornithologist and an avid tennis player!
