Rosanna Scopacasa - Soprano

Rosanna is a student at the University of Toronto, currently studying classical violin performance under the instruction of Professor Timothy Ying. She is currently a member of the University of Toronto MacMillan Singers, and will be taking part in the 2026 National Youth Choir of Canada this coming May.

Lindsay Scott - Soprano

Lindsay Scott (she/her) is a passionate composer, singer, and educator who holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Lindsay is currently writing choral music for Myriad Ensemble, singing with Arcady Ensemble, Eternal Voices, and St.Matthew’s Church Choir as a soprano scholar, and teaching voice, violin, guitar, and piano at the Kitchener Academy of Music. She is excited to return to Laurier in September to pursue her Bachelor of Education degree.

Chloe Shantz - Soprano

Chloe Shantz is a musical director, soprano vocalist and violinist with a degree in Music and English Literature from the University of Waterloo. Her work as a singer in Waterloo has included singing in the Spiritus Ensemble, and substituting for the Elora Singers and in the Parish choir at St John’s in Elora. She looks forward to participating in the National Youth Choir of Canada this summer. Outside of singing, Chloe has a passion for teaching, and works as a co-director of the Menno Youth Ensemble, the Assistant Conductor of the Grand Philharmonic Children's choir, and as an Assistant Conductor and teacher of Eastwood Collegiate High School's Concert and Chamber Choirs.

Darielle Chomyn - Mezzo Soprano

Darielle is a mezzo-soprano who is a private voice teacher and performer. She has performed in various chamber ensembles in the Kitchener-Waterloo region as well as the occasional opera.  Outside of performing Darielle loves snuggling her two cats and playing disc golf with her husband.

Anna O'Drowsky - Mezzo Soprano

Anna O'Drowsky is a mezzo-soprano from Acton, Ontario. She recently graduated from the University of British Colombia with a Masters in Opera. Her most recent performance was with the Toronto Operetta Theatre singing the role of Nina in Johann Strauss' A Night in Venice

Ian Balana - Tenor

Ian Balana is a Filipino-Canadian tenor pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance in Western University. A choral singer at heart, he currently sings with a few sacred music choirs, including the St. Paul’s Cathedral Adult Choir, in London, Ontario and directs the San Lorenzo Ruiz Filipino Adult Choir. Outside of choral singing, he enjoys performing comedic and dramatic roles having played Toby in Opera@Western’s 2026 production of Sweeney Todd and Dr. Blind in the 2024 production of Die Fledermaus.

Josiah Ropp - Tenor

Josiah Ropp is just finishing his last in Music at Conrad Grebel at the University of Waterloo. Josiah has grown up singing and participating in Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir, and many musical theatre productions including Something Rotten at Conrad Grebel. He has also appeared as a featured soloist in the UW Chamber Choir and participated in the Grand Philharmonic Choir.

Drew Aarssen - Bass

Drew Aarssen is a composer and baritone from Wallaceburg, Ontario. He recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier’s Opera Diploma program this Fall, and also received his Bachelor in Composition from the same institution. Drew enjoyed the opportunity to workshop his composition Be at peace in April of 2025 with the Exultate Chamber Singers, as well as a public performance of the piece by Voices Choir in Toronto. Drew has also enjoyed the performance of his opera-in-progress titled Ulysses, which was performed by Opera Laurier in Fall 2024. He is currently singing with the Guelph Chamber Choir, and is one of their emerging artists as a conductor. In the future, Drew is looking forward to the release of Canadian soprano Leslie Fagan’s new art song album featuring Drew’s composition The Beginning, as well the recording of his most recent composition Weep Yet Awhile by the Coro Volante Singers. Drew is also looking forward to conducting the premiere of his new composition Buried Love with the Guelph Chamber Choir this May, as well as the recording of Be at peace by the St. Pauls Choral Academy in late April. Outside of music, Drew loves to play volleyball, play euchre with his friends, read poetry, and camp around the country with his family.

Finn Steinke - Bass

Finn Steinke is an undergraduate mathematics student at the University of Guelph. In his spare time, he sings with the Guelph Chamber Choir and joins other local choral programs whenever possible. He aims to continue to improve and nurture his choral skills at every opportunity, and to share in the community of choir.

Erin Yip - Conductor

Erin Yip (she/her) is a piano teacher, freelance pianist, and has just recently graduated with a Bachelor in Music from the University of Toronto, class of 2025. Throughout her undergraduate years, she has maintained her private piano studio, teaching beginner and intermediate piano students in the Markham and Richmond Hill area. With a passion for education, she is currently in the Master of Teaching program at UofT (OISE) with vocal music and a junior/intermediate division focus. As an ongoing gig musician, Erin is also currently choral conducting, singing in choirs, and most recently music directing in Toronto-based musicals.
